UW-Stout’s annual Wellness Fair, the largest in Dunn County, will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, in the Multipurpose Room of the Sports and Fitness Center.
The event is free and open to the public, with free parking available in lots 29 and 34, east of the Sports and Fitness Center on 13th Avenue.
More than 70 vendors will be on hand with health and wellness information, samples and more. Visitors can register for door prizes, including the grand prize, a bicycle donated by Simple Sports of Menomonie and Chancellor Bob Meyer.
Students from the health, wellness and fitness major also will be presenting information about health, nutrition, exercise and more based on research they’ve done.
Visitors can bring nonperishable food items to donate to the Stepping Stones of Dunn County food pantry in Menomonie.
The event is hosted by the Campus Wellness Committee.
UW-Stout announced earlier this year that it is working toward creating the regional Center for the Study and Promotion of Health and Wellbeing.
