Financial Wellness & Literacy Center offers tools and tips for financial success

UW-Stout has a new financial resource on campus for students, the Financial Wellness & Literacy Center

The FWLC aims to provide essential tools, education and guidance to ensure that your student is well prepared and set up for financial success during and after their college years. 

We provide a centralized and coordinated financial wellness hub that offers peer-to-peer support, financial guidance and financial wellness resources to help them persist through their academic goals and transition into lifelong careers and financial security. FWLC Key Objectives

Financial wellness topics advised at the FWLC include:

  • Creating a plan to pay for college
  • Budgeting
  • Food plan management
  • Scholarship searches
  • Information on free college and campus resources

The FWLC is located on the lower level of Harvey Hall, room 74E. Students can make an appointment with Program Manager Mandy Stasiek or with Peer Financial Coaches by logging into Navigate.
