Aimee Lipke has received the University Staff Employee Appreciation Award for February at University of Wisconsin-Stout.
Lipke, of Menomonie, works in custodial services in the Memorial Student Center. She has been employed at UW-Stout for approximately 10 years.
Lipke’s nomination stated: “At every event we’ve hosted, Aimee is always very helpful. She checks in and makes sure things are the way we want them. Aimee is the backbone of Memorial Student Center conferences and events. Her dedication, attention to detail and exceeding customer service have made her adored by numerous people on campus. Ms. Lipke is always wearing a smile and has a way of leaving people with one too. She contributes to the positive environment on campus. Thank you for all you do, Aimee.”
Chancellor Bob Meyer presents each winner with a certificate of recognition, a UW-Stout travel mug and a UW-Stout blanket.
Students, faculty and staff may nominate a university staff member who demonstrates a commitment to excellence and the university community.
The award, in its 13th year, was established by the Chancellor’s Office and is co-sponsored by the University Staff Senate.
