Approximately 100 students from UW-Stout’s School of Art and Design will receive diplomas at commencement Saturday, Dec. 16.
The night before, they will present their capstone projects from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, at the biannual Senior Show on the first and second floors of the Applied Arts Building.
Projects in various design disciplines will be on display, such as graphic, game, interior, industrial and entertainment, along with studio art, such as sculpture, metals, painting and printmaking.
Also, a juried student art show will be on display in Furlong Gallery along with design shows exhibiting lamps, furniture, canoe paddles and pop-up campers.
The School of Art and Design offers six undergraduate majors and a Master of Fine Arts in design.
