Nicolette Brehm is an Assistant Professor of Design in the program of Interior Design. She began her career practicing Residential Interior Design working for a small, award-winning design firm. After that, she moved in commercial architecture working on K-12 Education, Healthcare, and Senior Living Projects. Nicolette is an NCIDQ certified Interior Designer.
Her graduate studies combined experiences and interests from both residential and commercial design fields. Her work focused on Adaptive Reuse, Wellness in Interior Design, and 3D visualization software as it relates to design communication.
Nicolette currently teaches Interior Design Studios and Courses in Building materials, sustainability, and specifications. Her research focuses on Wellness in Design and recently became a WELL accredited professional.
