I came to UW-Stout in Fall 2019 as a Lecturer in the Biology Department. I have served as the Program Director for M.S. Sustainable Management since Fall 2019 and M.S. Healthcare Administration since Fall 2021. My educational background is rooted in plant biology and ecology, with expertise in old-growth forests of eastern North America. During my Master's program, I also earned a graduate certificate in Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

Since moving to Menomonie, I have become involved in local restoration projects with The Prairie Enthusiasts, the Lower Chippewa Invasives Partnership, and the Natural Areas Club student organization. I enjoy lending a hand in the UW-Stout Greenhouse, helping our student workers learn basic plant care techniques.

I have taught Introductory GIS (GEOG 251), Wetland Ecology & Delineation (BIO 452), Conservation Biology (BIO 730), GIS for Conservation (GEOG 751), and Science, the Environment and Sustainability (BIO 111).
