Hi, I’m Kailey from Stevens Point, Wisconsin. I moved to the Chippewa Valley for college and quickly fell in love with the area. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and I’m passionate about crafting. You can often find me relaxing by crocheting various patterns or reading a good book.
Advice for a new student:
Get involved, develop good study habits, and have fun! College is what you make of it, so step outside your comfort zone and try something new. I highly recommend applying to be a tour guide—being one was one of my favorite experiences in college!
College Major/Minor:
I graduated with a Chemistry Education Degree and a Broadfield Science Education Certificate.
Why did you choose your major?
As a little kid, whenever someone asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” my answer was always, “A teacher!” In middle and high school, my passion for science grew, and I realized I wanted to be a science teacher.
What do you love most about UW-Stout?
