Stout Ambassadors

Representing the student body at alumni and campus events
In this Section

The Stout Ambassadors program was created in 2016 and is a collaborative project with the Involvement Center, Blue Devil Productions, the Alumni Association and Stout University Foundation.  Stout Ambassadors represent the student body by attending homecoming events, two alumni events and a campus Career Conference. They also have a special breakfast with the chancellor during the academic year.

Students interested in becoming ambassadors have to fill out an application and be interviewed. Criteria for eligibility include having a grade-point average of 3.0, taking at least six class credits and being available for mandatory events. Applicants also must answer three essay questions and provide a resume.

We are currently accepting applications for the 2023-2024 Ambassadors, the application includes an online form and an interview to be scheduled in late September. The online form is due at NOON on Thursday, September 22nd. Stout Ambassador duties begin in October and continue throughout the year.  A full list of requirements and opportunities is outlined at the beginning of the application.
