Driving Directions From the West/East via I-94

From Interstate I-94, take Exit 41 then follow Highway 25 south into Menomonie for about two miles. As you see the clock tower building on your left, turn left into parking lot #14. Turn right immediately and you'll see Sorensen Hall ahead on your left. There are reserved admissions visitor parking stalls on the west side of the building. If all reserved admissions spaces are full, you may park in any unsigned parking space.

Driving Directions From the East via WI-29

If traveling west on WI-29. Follow WI-29 into Menomonie. Turn left onto Broadway Street S/Hwy 25. As you see the clock tower building on your left, turn left into parking lot #14. Turn right immediately and you'll see Sorensen Hall ahead on your left. There are reserved admissions visitor parking stalls on the west side of the building. If all reserved admissions spaces are full, you may park in any unsigned parking space.

Driving Directions From the North via Hwy. 25

If traveling south on Hwy 25. Follow Hwy 25 S. into Menomonie (go over I-94 at Exit 41). Follow Highway 25 about two miles. As you see the clock tower building on your left, turn left into parking lot #14. Turn right immediately and you'll see Sorensen Hall ahead on your left. There are reserved admissions visitor parking stalls on the west side of the building. If all reserved admissions spaces are full, you may park in any unsigned parking space.

Driving Directions From the South via Hwy. 25

If traveling north on Hwy 25. Follow Hwy 25 N. into Menomonie. Turn right onto 10th Ave E then take your first left into parking lot #14. Follow the parking lot around until you see the reserved admissions visitor parking stalls on the west side of the building. If all reserved admissions spaces are full, you may park in any unsigned parking space.

Parking Instructions

Please park in Lot #14.

  • There are reserved admissions visitor parking stalls on the west side of Sorensen Hall. If you park in the reserved admissions visitor parking stalls, you will need to follow the pay station directions below.
  • If all reserved admissions spaces are full, you may park in any unsigned parking space and follow the pay station directions below.
  • If Lot #14 is full, overflow parking is available in Lot #27 on the other side of Broadway Street (next to the General Services building). 
  • Saturday Parking: Parking is free on weekends, both on city streets and within our campus lots.

If you are parked in a reserved admissions visitor or unsigned parking space, please follow these pay station directions.

To properly park using a pay station:
1. Park with your license plate visible to the drive lane
2. Remember your license plate number
3. Walk to pay station:

  • Lot #14: The pay station is located near the walkway as you approach Sorensen Hall's North entrance.
  • Lot #27: The pay station is located on the north side of the entrance off Broadway Street near the General Services building.

Pay Station Instructions:
1. To begin, press "OK"
2. Enter license plate number and press "OK"
3. Press 1) purchase ticket
4. Press 2) hourly rate $1/hr
5. Enter number of hours: 8/hrs
6. Press "OK" twice
7. Press "C" to enter coupon parking code
8. Enter coupon parking code for your visit. You can find your free parking code in your visit confirmation email.
9. A receipt is not needed, but if you want one, press "OK"

Once the information is entered, you're all set to check-in at the Admissions Office in 212 Sorensen Hall. Enjoy your visit!
