Construction Lab

In UW-Stout’s Construction Lab, students develop practical experience in areas of construction associated with a broad range of building procedures and technology, including experience testing building materials and creating mock-ups. Besides course work, the laboratory is also used for demonstrations and other hosted construction events.

Before you can explore your creativity and skills in the Construction Lab, you'll need to pass a mandatory safety quiz in your construction methods course. This ensures everyone using the lab understands basic safety protocols.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
In the construction lab, PPE isn't just a recommendation, it's our blueprint for ensuring a safe and productive learning environment. Wearing safety glasses and hard hats is required when you're in the lab.
