Rick Olson is president of KRM Information Services, Inc. KRM provides distance education services to organizations that wish to provide live, interactive seminars that are delivered directly to people’s offices. Rick has his BA from Luther College, Decorah, Iowa (‘71) and his law degree (JD) from Valparaiso University School of Law, Valparaiso, Indiana (‘74). He has been actively involved in the management and ownership of various publishing, printing and seminar companies for 20 years.

Mr. Robert (Bob) A. Kierlin is the chairman of the board, the president and the chief executive officer of Fastenal Company, a company that specializes in threaded fasteners and is based in Winona, Minnesota. Mr. Kierlin started the Fastenal Company in 1967 and joined it full-time in 1973. Prior to starting Fastenal, Mr. Kierlin was employed by IBM in Rochester, Minnesota, as a cost engineer, business controller and financial analyst. He graduated from Cotter High School in Winona and went on to receive a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Minnesota Institute of Technology. In 1964, he completed his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota. He then spent two years volunteering for the Peace Corps in Venezuela. Mr. Kierlin was elected to the Minnesota State Senate in April 1999, to fill the District 32 seat. He serves on the Boards of Cotter High School, Cotter Schools Inc., and the Hiawatha Education Foundation, along with several business boards and advisory boards of the University of Minnesota. He is a past member of the Winona Port Authority.
