Get ready for an immersive polytechnic adventure at UW-Stout’s Junior STEAM (STEM + Art & Design) Summer Camps! Designed for elementary school students (entering grades 4-5) and middle school students (entering grades 6-8), these camps provide a unique opportunity to engage in hands-on, applied learning in science, technology, engineering, art, and math.

Critter Camp

Garden to Table Camp

Robotics-Inspired STEAM Exploration (RISE) Camp
Bring your imagination to life in this exciting animation camp! Using industry-standard software, you’ll start with the basics and quickly progress to creating your own animations. Learn the 12 principles of animation and collaborate with your peers to produce an animated short film. By the end of the camp, your work will be featured online for everyone to enjoy.

Sewing 101 Camp
Are you passionate about crafting and curious about sewing? Join us for this exciting camp where creativity meets hands-on learning! Perfect for beginners, this camp will guide you through the essentials of sewing, from choosing the right fabric to operating a home sewing machine. Create a stylish oversized tote bag to carry all your treasures, as well as a coordinating pencil case. Unleash your creativity, develop valuable skills, and walk away with handmade creations you'll be proud to show off!

- First Day of Camp: Check-in between 1:30 PM and 2:30 PM and out at 5:00 PM.
- Subsequent Days: Check-in at 8:15 AM and out at 4:15 PM.
Overnight Camps
- First Day of Camp: Check-in between 1:30 PM and 2:30 PM.
- Last Day of Camp: Check-out at 4:15 PM.
