The NTLC offers four different mentoring programs for instructors beginning their teaching adventures to those more seasoned instructors.

UW-System Office of Professional and Instructional Development (OPID)

OPID offers three signature programs for instructors that are designed to support the professional development of instructors at the system level.  Participation in these opportunities require an application, review and selection process for instructors willing to make a year-long commitment to explore and research pedagogical practices.  These opportunities include: 

  • Wisconsin Teaching Fellows (WTF)
  • Wisconsin Teaching Scholars (WTS)
  • Faculty College
