Welcome to the Visual & Performing Arts Department!

We are one of two departments that make up the School of Art & Design at UW-Stout. The School of Art & Design is proud to be the largest art and design higher education entity in the entire upper Midwest, consisting of more than 1,000 students and 65 faculty who are actively engaged in various forms of creativity and innovation.

With award-winning and nationally-recognized programs and students, our hands-on, polytechnic-infused curriculum fosters an environment for creative problem solving and self-expression. We invite you to connect online with questions or visit us in person so you can tour our fantastic facilities and meet with our wonderful faculty.
